Want to try hockey - free?

The Eastview Hockey Mites program  is designed for PreK-3rd grade boys and girls!

Hockey is a fantastic sport for physical exercise , and most importantly, hockey will bring out a whole new confidence in your young student athlete!

Plus...this is the STATE OF HOCKEY!

What?

The emphasis of the mite program is on the development of skating and hockey skills and less on playing structured hockey games. A typical practice might have 5-10 minutes of warm up, 30 minutes of skills training, and 20 minutes of in-house scrimmage against other mites of a similar skill level.

Is it really free?

Almost everything needed to play hockey is included with registration and our first year equipment pacakge! Ice time, jersey, and an essentials equipment package valued between $100-$150! (You'll need to buy skates, stick, athletic-support, and a mouthguard)

Mite hockey costs are kept low so young players can try hockey for a season to see if they like it.  Plus, new families don’t have a volunteer requirement!

When?

  • All Players:  Most Saturday and Sundays from the end of October to the beginning of March.
  • Mite 1 & 2:  Weekends only (after 8:00am) with NO weekday time commitment
  • Mite 3 & 4:  Players may have 1-2 additional practice during the school week.

Where?

  • Apple Valley Sports Arena (Attached to Apple Valley High School)
  • Eagan Community Arena (our backup location)
