EVHA recognizes the unique needs of our goalies.  In order to support our goalies, we have established a traveling goalie equipment reimbursement program.  The reimbursement program is available only to EVHA families with full-time goalies.  This reimbursement program covers certain goalie equipment and the maximum per season reimbursement amount scales based on level.  Key details of the reimbursement program are as follows: 

Equipment eligible for reimbursement:

• Leg Pads 
• Catch Glove 
• Blocker  
• Chest Protector 
• Other goalie equipment such as skates, stick, helmet are NOT covered by this program.   

Maximum per season reimbursement amount for each level:

• Squirt/10U - $350*
• Peewee/12U - $550 
• Bantam/Jr. Gold/14U - $975
   

Timing of Eligibility 

The maximum reimbursement amount is applied to each playing season.  Reimbursements should be submitted between 9/1 and 3/1.  Purchases made out of season can be submitted during the following season after the player has been registered. 
 

Other Details 

• A completed reimbursement request with valid receipts must be submitted for reimbursement 
• Purchases above the maximum reimbursement amount will not be covered by EVHA 
• To be eligible for reimbursement, the goalie/family must be in good standing with EVHA

* First year squirt/U10 goalies have the option to utilize 2 years’ worth of reimbursement in the first year to cover the initial purchase of equipment.  Goalies who fully utilize this option will not be eligible for additional reimbursement until they reach the Peewee/U12 level.
