We are excited that competitions start again today!

A few important updates:

You must log your attendance as a spectator at any/all games.  MN Hockey is requiring that all teams maintain a list of those attending as spectators.  EVHA has created a simple form to use - when you attend a game, please make your (up to 2) spectators complete the form located on our "I Am Here" page:

www.eastviewhockey.net/iamhere

This will give us the appropriate information in the case that we need to contact trace due to a positive COIVD-19 test notification.  This is for both HOME and AWAY games and information collected will only be used for contact tracing purposes.

Hayes Park Arena is now a LiveBarn Venue.  If you have family and friends that want to watch your kids on the ice, they can catch all the action from home for up to 30 days after an event, save and share 30 second highlights, download entire games or practices, and more!  If you are not a subscriber to live barn, you can get a 10% discount:  PROMO CODE: cc2c-93m2  at livebarn.com

DIBS Roles for "Game Entry" will be loaded into SportsEngine today.  This new role consists of the following duties for any EVHA Home Game:

  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to game time to stand outside the entry of the arena
  • Remind people entering to have and put on their mask.
  • Ensure teams do not enter earlier than the time allowed by the rink (usually 10 minutes.)
  • Ensure spectators and teams are leaving the venue within the required time (usually 10 minutes) after their game.
  • You will receive 2 hours of credit per game, arriving 15 minutes prior to game time and leaving after the team has vacated the facility.

Locker Room Use is highly discouraged, can only be used for putting on skates, and will be limited based on each rink's rules (these are updated regularly and posted on our COVID-19 page.)

While we understand the rules, requirements and pandemic mediations may put a damper on the excitement of getting back on the ice, we continue to remain excited that our season was extended, the kids are allowed the opportunity to play, and that parents are able to watch their kids in person.  Thank you, in advance, for your adherence to these rules and regulations and staying positive through these strange times!
