Summer Program for Eastview Girls Hockey 2024

The summer program is open to all players in grades 7 to 12 for the 24-25 school year. The summer program is designed to improve individual skills that players can implement in their individual gameplay. Players will have the opportunity to participate in scrimmages that will take place outside of the scheduled ice times.

• Location: Hayes Arena
• On-Ice Sessions: 12
• Schedule:
  • Mondays:
    • Off-Ice: 10:00-11:15 AM
    • On-Ice: 11:30 AM-12:45 PM
  • Wednesdays:
    • Off-Ice: 9:15-10:30 AM
    • On-Ice: 10:45 AM-12:00 PM

Dates:

• June: 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26
• July: 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24

Skill Development:

• On-Ice Skill Development: Stickhandling with head up, Shooting to score, Agility, Stride development, Speed, Conditioning, Reading the Goalie, Single Leg Jumps, Vision, Passing, Shooting, Movement with the puck, Game habits/instincts, Protecting the puck, Backward skating with puck, Small Area Games, Angling, Scoring Touch, Dekes, Shooting off the pass, Understanding Time and Space.
• Off-Ice Skill Development: Includes similar focuses as on-ice sessions to complement physical conditioning and skill refinement.
